Well the year has started off quite busy at Profiler Recruitment, thank goodness the team has been returning since Jan 1 looking refreshed and happy to help our wonderful clients and candidates. There has been a flurry of interviews of candidates for a range of exciting roles – mostly contract (paternal leave reasons is a current trend for creating contract opportunities) and across event coordination/IR specialists/senior HR generalists just this week .We are waiting for other clients to return from their break to discuss the great talent we have uncovered for their business needs and great projects planned for 2012.

I am excited that I have been invited to present to one of our clients next week on Recruitment Advertising – I do have a passion for it and will be happy to share some of the tips in my regular blog once I finish writing it!

I have been reading a lot of 2012 predictions and horoscopes to help guide my new year resolutions and didn’t find anything I liked that related to myself or my family and friends. I have also been voraciously reading the Steve Jobs authorised biography over the summer break and have decided make my 2012 new years resolution to follow the Apple advertising camapign from the 1980′s “Think Different.”. I think its fine to reinvent something that works – even if I didn’t think of it myself. That is what Steve did! Profiler looks forward to working together with you in 2012.
