Seven years ago this month Profiler Recruitment started the business out of a home office in Port Melbourne. Many of our candidates and clients will remember that time. The job market has certainly been interesting since 2005, with a GFC, two dips in the economy and interest rates dropping. The biggest change I have seen is how candidates use the internet and social media for their own networking and profile raising – learning along the way. With the move to St Kilda Road, Melbourne five years ago and the increased ability to service clients nationally and across the Asia Pac region has seen Profiler Recruitment grow and develop (some exciting news is still to come). I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients and candidates who have continued to work with us during times of uncertainty and change, supporting the work that we do. It really is appreciated.
Ok enough reminiscing… the market this week has seen opportunities emerge across education, industrial, associations and utilities. Skills across marketing communications, technical writing, recruitment and HR generalist have proven the flavour of the week. Projects are coming to an end for some organisations with roll outs imminent so extra hands on deck to reach completion are required so contract opportunities have been more the preference for our clients just at this time.
Again thank you to the wonderful team at Profiler Recruitment for making every day great in the office for the last 7 years!
